Supreme Court Bar Association Barrister President Syed Ali Zafar hosted the first ever initiative for London School of Economics’ Pakistan programme under which Jinnah Chair will be set up by the institution.
Speaking on the event, the president and LSE director stressed the world-renowned university’s connection with Pakistan, which goes back more than a century when its founders first visited Lyallpur, Peshawar and Lahore in 1911. Prof Craig said that LSE has received some of its best students from Pakistan and it is time to put Pakistan on the map of the education world. The event was attended by the governor, dignitaries and officials of the government, business community, academia and LSE alumni.
